About the Skin & Cellular Research Bundle UK

Skin and tissue research rarely comes down to a single pathway. GHK-Cu is the copper complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide Gly-His-Lys, long studied in collagen and tissue-remodelling models. KPV is the Lys-Pro-Val tripeptide from the C-terminal end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, investigated for its anti-inflammatory signalling. Glutathione is the gamma-Glu-Cys-Gly tripeptide at the centre of cellular thiol and antioxidant biochemistry.

Supplied together, they give researchers one consistently documented set of materials for studying how structure, inflammation and redox balance influence each other in cellular and tissue models.

Skin & Cellular Bundle Research

GHK-Cu: research on the copper tripeptide includes foundational work showing it can stimulate collagen synthesis in fibroblast culture (Learn more), alongside wider study of extracellular-matrix turnover, wound-remodelling models and skin biology. It is also available individually as [GHK-Cu].

KPV: published work has examined KPV's anti-inflammatory potential in murine models of inflammatory bowel disease (Learn more), and experimental research has extended to NF-kappaB-related signalling, cytokine responses and skin or barrier-related systems. [KPV] is also supplied as a single product.

Glutathione: the reduced and oxidised forms of glutathione make up one of the main intracellular redox couples, and research in cultured human skin fibroblasts has shown that glutathione protects the cells against the damaging effects of UVB and UVA light, with protection in the UVB range approaching that of the cells' own DNA repair (Learn more). It is widely used in oxidative-stress models and in research on glutathione peroxidase and transferase systems, and is available on its own as [Glutathione].
