How this calculator works
Concentration
The vial strength divided by the water you added. A 10 mg vial in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL.
Volume
Your selected amount divided by that concentration, which gives the volume in millilitres.
Syringe units
On a U-100 insulin syringe, 100 units is 1 mL, so the volume is multiplied by 100.
